"Most people don't come to NoLa to stay in their room... what we needed was an affordable place to put our luggage, shower and sleep. To that end, we got what we paid for. The rates were affordable, the staff was nice, there was free gated parking, the room was spacious, and the hotel was right off the freeway so it was easy to get to all the stuff we wanted to see.
With all that said, please find a different afforable place when in NoLa and skip this place. We rolled up our first night during a...
"The hosts were splendid and attentive to answer every question. Clean clean xlean and homey. Lived tge extras, delicuous 5* breakfast. I will always stay here as first choice."
"Unique property. Very well done but could do with a little more house keeping ie; fresh towels. If you want to stay somewhere different from the average hotel then you will not be disappointed!
Location just a little too far out if no car but with a 10 min walk and a streetcar pass all is good. Todd the owner is extremely helpful."

With all that said, please find a different afforable place when in NoLa and skip this place. We rolled up our first night during a rain storm and I immediately called it "the Scooby Doo Hotel". The property looks like it's slated for demolition. The stucco is cracking and the stairs aren't completely structurally sound. There seemed to be a fair amount of people using the property as regular housing (no personal issue with that) but that came with couples fighting or kids crying or other loud neighbors. The room was dirty, paint marks on the floor (Mardi Gras makeup/decoration from previous guests, I'd guess), cigarette burns on the comforter, stains on the shower curtain, and GROSS towels. Skip this property."
"The front desk staff was great, hotel is close to multiple restaurants, hotel was clean, pool was amazing and beds were super comfortable will definitely be staying again."
