I’ll start off by saying that the ONLY good thing about this hotel is the staff. Amazing people! However, the property itself was horrible. Entering our room the first thing I noticed were stains on the pillows, house keeping BARELY cleaned our room the entire stay and I stayed for 4 DAYS! They would come in and make our beds and give us new towels; that was it. Not even a vacuumed floor. When I showered I looked up and saw the filthiest vent I’ve ever seen. There was so much dust and dirt I thought Something was going to crawl out. And the POOL? FILTHY. I booked this hotel because of how nice the pool looks on the site but didn’t even dip a finger in. It was completely dirty, debris was floating in the water, dirt, bugs and god knows what else. Even the sitting area around the pool was a disgrace. The chairs and tables were all over the place. Some were flipped over, it was obvious that maintenance doesn’t or has not touched or even peeked at the pool area to clean it at all. I would never stay here again. The area was perfect and everything was walking distance. Very very close to bourbon, restaurants and any store you possibly needed but there are other hotels on Canal that I would choose my next time visiting New Orleans.

We stayed a week. Any issue we had was resolved immediately (and cheerfully, which is rare). Location has to be the best in the city. We walked almost everywhere but occasionally hopped on a trolley which stops just outside the front door of the Hotel. There is good food everywhere in the city but the hotel offers delicious cuisine at very acceptable prices. We ate evening meals there twice. When we return to New Orleans, we wil always stay here. Any issues we had with the hotel were resolved immediately and cheerfully (which is rare). Ian and Linda, Redland Bay, Australia.

Our floor the 13th floor smelled like irine, mold, and weed. Also the TV in our room never got stations to come in. Most of time had to ask for room cups. Very loud people in rooms and especially in the lobby area. Restaurant too expensive.
