"The heaters need to be cleaned really badly. We turned them on because the house was cold, but they started to smell horrible. Like burnt dust. The carpets are stained and need a good steam cleaning. There was a very strange and offensive odor in the master bedroom. It smelled like the chemicals in a hair salon. We booked 3 nights and only stayed for 1. Expedia tried to reach out to the property owner, but they didn’t respond and we couldn’t get our money back. I don’t recommend this rental."

On arrival the overall impression was of a very high standard, the staff were excellent, as was the room, and facilities. The food could not be better, very high quality and service, a credit to the chef. In all I can not say anything that is praise enough for the service and accommodation we were provided. As far as my wife and I are concerned, we will always be staying at the Harbour Springs Hotel when visiting Peterhead.

We had a bay view room which looked directly out onto the harbour which was lovely to wake up to The room was spotlessly clean and modern with everything we needed built in. The tea and coffee station was tucked away nicely and there was a full size fridge with a freezer in. We found this excellent as we were travelling so it gave us a good opportunity to freeze our ice packs for the cool bag and chill our drinks down for when we set off again in the morning.

Wow! What an incredible stay i had in the YURT, I could not fault it one bit, the couple who run this site are so so lovely and i can’t thank them enough for being so accommodating, the room itself was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed, the hot tub was just such a perfect addition to the night. The games room was great fun and such a good thing for all ages. Thankyou so much for making our night so special, we will definitely be back !!!

3 of us had 3 separate rooms during our 2 night stay, the reception staff were very welcoming, rooms were immaculately clean and very well maintained as was the full hotel top to bottom, beds super comfy, bathrooms sparkling & spotlessly clean & overall room size was large with adequate storage for clothes etc. In the morning guests are welcomed in to a really pleasant dining room by a lovely bright & bubbly lady member of the hotel staff. This was a fantastic place to relax, although a little dated the room was spotless and comfortable. The staff were marvellous and nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t have breakfast but had lunch and dinner a few times, the food was delicious, especially the fish specials, they are definitely worth a try. You can sit outside in the evening and really enjoy the sea air, love this part of the world and the seal beach which is a short distance from the hotel.

An absolutely stunning house and great service. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and will be back. Durham is a beautiful city and our stay here was the icing on the cake. We are both carnivores and the staff were very considerate, giving us a packed breakfast to take with us as we had to leave very early on the morning of our departure.
