"Steele Hill is absolutely beautiful! My room was clean and comfy and reasonably priced for a resort! I will say check in can be confusing as they said I was staying in the main building. The map only says east building, west building etc. You would think the brightly lit building on the hill would be the main building, but that’s incorrect. A sign outside the buildings would be really helpful, especially for people arriving after dark like I did!
Also, the hotel is located on the top of a hill, about 5 miles from the closest town, and only has one restaurant/option for food. My complaint is that I booked the hotel with specific plans to eat at the restaurant for dinner and everything I saw said it would be open- it was not. This isn’t cosmic, but definitely inconvenient when it’s the only thing close by and I’d specifically booked the hotel knowing I was going to have a late day and planning the restaurant around that.
Overall the resort was absolutely stunning and the view cannot be beat!! Highly recommend staying here for a lovely getaway!"
"We stayed in the Inn. The view from the porch was gorgeous. The inn had great outdoor seating and was conveniently located near restaurants and a few stores. Shared bathroom, which was no big deal and the price was unbeatable!"
