Landschaftsschutzgebiet Oldhorster Moor (LSG-H46): Nicht nur das Moor selbst (Blick nach Osten, im Hintergrund ist der Moorwald zu sehen), sondern auch die umgebenden Grünflächen, hier Pferdekoppeln, stehen unter Landschaftsschutz.

Am Rand des Landschaftsschutzgebiet Oldhorster Moores (LSG-H46) wächst der Königsfarn (Osmunda regalis), der nach der Bundesartenschutzverordnung als stark gefährdet gilt. Auch auf der Roten Liste Niedersachsen und Bremen, 5. Fassung vom 1.3.2004, wird er als gefährdet geführt. Über den Farn blickt man zum Moorwald, Richtung Nordosten.

Zum Landschaftsschutzgebiet Obere Wietze gehören nur wenige bewaldete Flächen. Das größte zusammenhängende Waldgebiet liegt östlich der A 7. Zum einen besteht es aus einem ehemaligen Parkgelände, das inzwischen zu einer Art Naturwald geworden ist, zum anderen aus Forsten und ungenutzten Moorwäldern mit viel Totholz. Hier ist ein Teil des ehemaligen Parkgeländes mit künstlich angelegtem Teich zu sehen.
