"It was nice and rustic."

"The Room: the room was well maintained and clean. They had a mini fridge and microwave. Would have loved a tub, but shower was nice. The TV had issues one night, but staff got right on it to fix. Staff: very nice and professional. The cookies at front desk were a nice welcome. Location: the area was safe and easy to access. We spent a lot of time seeing 1880 Train, Reptile Garden, Crazy Horse, Mt Rushmore, Needles Hwy, Custer. It was about 40 minute drive to these sites. I think it may be better to stay closer in hill city if you are here for tourism. Breakfast: they had the same thing every day. Scrambled eggs, biscuits, toast, waffles, and oatmeal. Would have liked some variety for a week long stay. Nice if they Offer some muffins, bagels, hard boiled eggs, sausage. Pool: very busy but nice add on. Overall a good stay and would recommend"

"It was close to our area of travel and reasonably priced. Main building was very nice that contained the office and breakfast area/lounge. Room was tighter than expected and would be very hard to accommodate 4 adults (we had 3 of us) with luggage and two queen beds in a small cabin. We did lose hot water on our second morning."

"Very pleased with this hotel. Staff was attentive to our needs and very accommodating to working with us while traveling with our bicycles. They also helped with a change in travel plans. The room was clean and bedding comfortable. The morning breakfast was simple but fit the needs for a quick breakfast for travelers. Everything was warm, tasty, and plentiful. The location was within walking distance to a fun little downtown area, a wonderful bike trail and other local attractions. We found it a convenient drive then to Mount Rushmore, the main reason for our trip."

"Nice people. Staff were so so some were nice some were rude. I never had to call front desk before to ask our upstairs neighbors to stop jumping. They were jumpers for hours non stop when I called the front desk they said I was not the first one, then they stay jumping again I. The morning at 5. Am"
