Beautiful location, very comfortable accommodation, extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Great to have restaurant and bar on premises - strongly recommend this venue.

The suite had a separate bedroom and a full kitchen including plates, glasses, cups, silverware, toaster, microwave, cooking utensils, and even knives and serving utensils. Quite a nice surprise. I go to Nelson every Summer and have stayed in many of the local accommodations. This one is definitely one of my faves now.

Beautiful location. View of the lake. Amazing dinning on site. Older motel, but so well maintained. Owner is so great! Close to the beach and nelson. I could've stayed much longer!

Although an older facility, it is well maintained, very clean and excellent staff. The location is beautiful with an amazing view overlooking the lake and mountains. It is a 12 min drive from town so quiet and peaceful.

Hard to find the front desk, any info about what to do in the room, called front desk and asked where was the hot tub and to find out if there were any towels there. They said yes but nothing there, went back to the room to get some

BEWARE SCAMMERS
Terrible scammers charged for 2 nights when we only stayed 1. Checked out and cleaned by 11am. On top of that thier cheap curtains let an abundance of light in at 6am!! The cupboards are old and falling apart but with a fresh coat of paint lol. Bathroom is from the 80s. Still worse tho is the fact we got the suite with the kitchenette to try and save on meal costs and the 1 pan and pot were scratched so badly i couldnt even cook in it. When i called to ask her to correct the charge the owner lady said " too bad" !!! Grrrrrr so frustrating hoping the cc company will not approve the extra charges!

Dear Andre, The promotional deal you booked with us enabled you to get a lower rate, and it required a two night stay. This conventional promotion means we are unable to book your room during the time you have reserved it. We are sorry you could not stay the second night that you booked. We are always working on upgrading our rooms and amenities and will be examining the room you stayed in for the issues you raised.

We enjoyed our stay here
It's quite basic but it's conveniently located close to the water and not far from Nelson. I missed it on the description that this is actually a motel and not really a resort. For a motel it's quite good.

We’ll be back!
The service was exceptional - the owners work really hard to run the business and really take care of the people staying with them. We travelled to finalize the purchase of a property, with our 3 small children, and the owner gave them delicious free beverages every night when they ordered our delicious desserts from the restaurant! The kitchenette with 2 bedrooms was absolutely perfect for our family - the grounds are so beautiful.

The room was absolutely super clean. Gorgeous views to the lake, rooms with plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen. Very handy for families. Good spot to explore the area and a short drive to downtown. I would definitively stay there again!

Labour day weekend at the lodge
We loved staying here, the unit had a livingroom, top of the line appliances and could even BBQ outside. Loved the playground for the little ones, waterfront view and easy access to the main road. The bedroom was a big tight as the bed took most of the space and was hard to walk around it. Other than that we loved our stay. Easy contactless check in and check out

Great outdoor space including bbq's and lovely view. Would be very nice for kids. Asian restaurant on site. Fairly well equipped kitchen. Separate bedroom and comfortable bed. Some updating needed eg. tub, blinds. Corner store with essentials and liquor very close. Small beach across the street - need your own towels. About 29 minutes from Nelson which is nice for relaxing.

Loved having the grounds right there with the space for kids or pets - and the play equipment The walk up tree deck where we could sit and look at the water was great Loved being so close to the water The couch bed and bed were very comfortable It was great having so many places for guests to sit at and bbq Firepit was great touch

My only complaint is the smell of old cigarette smoke. It’s the first thing I notice as an allergy sufferer. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was bright and looks newly renovated.

What a lovely place! The owners are so lovely and accommodating! The restaurant on site serves lovely food and my daughter loved the play park. We would definitely recommend this place! Five stars from our family

Good stay overall for my husband and I. Very friendly staff with a smooth check in/out. The resort is conveniently located about 30 mins from the hot springs and only 10 minutes outside of Nelson. For our hot springs and thanksgiving inspired visit, we stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which is best suited for 2 adults, the listing mentions it can sleep 4 but this would be impossible unless the others are kids as the pullout bed is actually a very firm, small sized futon. The space worked well for us though as we were able to cook our meals in the suite’s kitchenette. There is a beautiful, new restaurant onsite which the locals raved about but sadly we did not get to try it out. Overall the suite was clean. had a comfy bed, nicely remodelled bathroom, futon couch, kitchen table and some limited kitchen items. In case you are wondering, in the kitchen you will find cutlery, 2 pots, a pan, cutting board, glasses, plates and bowls, a single serve coffee machine and a toaster. Great value stay, we will be back 👍

We arrived at the end of Labour Day weekend. The posting on Expedia said the rate included breakfast. Apparently the breakfast stopped on Sunday. The owner advised that our rate would have been $30 higher if they were still including breakfast and that it was an Expedia setting that she couldn't vary with the season. Seems pretty steep for breakfast imho. Regardless, the room was clean and well appointed. Only air conditioning was in the living room, so the bedroom was too warm, while the living room was frigid. We had dinner after our 8pm arrival, and the food was freshly cooked, plentiful and fairly tasty. The property is stunning. Well laid out, with lots of comfy seating areas, a firepit and other nooks and crannies to settle into over the long haul. I'm sure it's a lovely place during high season.

We have stayed at this facility many time but this time things have changed. Out bathtub was awful and the breakfast has changed. The new area is nice but i thought we were paying 149.00 because breakfast was included but it is only cereal, yogurt, muffins and toast. Very disappointed
