Ocean Crest Resort
8/10 Good
"The view was beautiful. The staff were nice. The room had ONE small towel bar in the bathroom. No other place/hook/closet for hanging anything including wet outer wear from hiking, or coats or towels and washcloths. No hooks or hangers anywhere in the room. For a place near the rain forest and the beach, places to hang things to dry should be a requirement. The dining room and meal were very good. However, it only served dinner. The only other restaurants required driving several miles to another city for food and groceries."

"We stayed in Cabin 18, and it had a spectacular view of the lake and sunset. The porch was fabulous to sit and relax while gazing at the lake, where I saw and heard loons on the lake in the morning. This little complex has everything you need, including immediate access to beautiful trails and an onsite laundry! Thereโs a fantastic restaurant with a bar on the grounds as well. The food is outstanding and we highly recommend the steak and salmon. This is not the place for you if you are looking for luxury, but if you want an authentic cabin experience this IS the place. The wood-paneled interior and fireplace were charming and gave such a cozy feel, and the kitchenette was convenient. We would definitely stay here again!"
