"First of all , Tom is a lovely host friendly and had suggestions for dining and taxi service . Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for moving around . Breakfast was very hospitable and yummy food provided with company at one table with the other B&B persons. My only issue was that four rooms shared a bathroom on the second storey so maybe a suggestion would be to have potentially scheduled shower times or cleaning supplies to share between persons visiting . Went for the full Scottish breakfast, was great, and huge. More of an older traditional guesthouse, with great history, rather than a modern hotel."

"The Shawlee Cottage is a convenient place to stay when you have a car as it is a short drive to Glasgow and the surrounding areas. The owners Sandy and Cathy make an effort to have a conversation with you around the breakfast table, and they sure do have stories to share. They make your stay very welcoming. "

"Lovely B&B in a quiet country location at Mauchline outside Kilmarnock. Modern house surrounded by peaceful countryside surrounded by farmland with views over to Arran on the horizon. The room was comfortable and clean with all amenities and free wifi available. " Very comfortable, spacious, modern apartment, in excellent area. Polite and efficient staff. Only suggestion is for hotel to provide instructions on how to use various appliances, because for a non-European this is not very obvious."

"So central , lovely apartment with tea, coffee, sugar , biscuits etc. massive comfy bed with no sound from outside . Looked after our luggage and the guy who checked us out today was just lovely . Will be back for sure "
