The Boulder Creek Lodge is the pretty much the only hotel in Nederland and our stay there was very good, apart from the first very cold night which was quickly put right the next morning everything about thie hotel was good. The Manager was marvellous, the breakfast excellent and any information we wanted was freely given. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Only criticism was that our room faces onto the lot behind. There was a very loud air conditioning unit that was on all night. So not the most restful night of sleep.

Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. Free breakfast was an added bonus and was good. The breakfast area was rather small and was soon full, which was unfortunate. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was within walking distance of the main shops and restaurants. I would happily recommend the hotel.

Good location and staff with access to some good trails

Clean, comfortable and modern hotel. We had booked a mountain view room and it was lovely to see such a great view in the morning. I loved the outside areas on the ground floor....the planting made them feel very lush and completely disguised the fact I was in a busy town. Breakfast in the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. There were good restaurants nearby for our evening meal and it was only a 10-15 minute walk into the town centre. A great one night stay in a friendly, clean hostel! All the staff were very helpful and relaxed and gave advice about local hikes and activities. I stayed in the shared hostel dorm, which was basic (as expected) but clean and quiet and the shower was lovely and hot. Sociable atmosphere - able to buy drinks from the bar and meet people around the campfire, who I then headed into Boulder with for the evening. Great access to the canyon trail into Boulder, which is beautiful to run/walk/cycle. Also...

Fantastic location and amazing staff

Ended up with a HUGE room, hotel a little dated but perfectly comfortable for our overnight stay in Central City! Mainly casinos in Central City but also some interesting Gold rush history, worth a stop but probably not worth more than one night if like us you're not there for gambling! Easy parking in hotel multistory car park.
