"Four Days, Three Nights of Cockroaches The staff, location, and setting are excellent—but room 24 had a severe cockroach problem that overwhelmed everything else. On the first night, turning on the shower sent 30–40 cockroaches out from behind the curtain. From that point on, it was constant: cockroaches in the bathroom, cockroaches on the walls and ceiling, cockroaches in the kitchen, cockroaches on the counters, dishes, drawers, and even in my bag. Every night and morning, more cockroaches. I reported the issue immediately. Despite assurances, the response was minimal—two traps and delayed cleaning. The cockroaches continued nonstop, though numbers dropped slightly after I spent days killing cockroaches myself. Clear signs of infestation were everywhere: cockroach droppings, smeared cockroaches on walls, and cockroaches across multiple surfaces and rooms. On my last day, I still found cockroaches under the coffee maker and even on my pillow. For over $1,100, this was an unacceptable, cockroach-infested stay and the worst lodging experience I’ve had."

"Breakfast was great, but be aware that there are no vegan options. Staff were all very friendly. The room wasn’t super clean, the sheets were stained and the pillow looked like it had footprints on it. I asked for new ones but didn’t get them. The air conditioning didn’t actually cool anything off, all of the settings were the same temperature, and it was probably the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. If you’re a light sleeper, you won’t get much sleep, the road noise is brutal. Even ear plugs didn’t help. But the location is great, easy to get anywhere and the pool and I pins are nice. "

"If you like access to Waikiki, but don’t want to be in the middle of it all this is a great place to stay. Easy walking to parks and beaches and you’re within a mile of many good restaurants. We thought the room rates were very reasonable for Ocean view of the harbor."

"The hotel was just fine for what we needed - somewhere close to the airport for our late night arrival. The room was clean and quiet. Only downside is that breakfast was packed at 7am - hard to find seating and a line for the food. It wasn’t a long wait just something to be aware of. Overall, it met our needs and we would stay again if we had a late night arrival. "
