"We enjoyed Nazare and our stay in the Hotel Oceano. While we did not have an oceanfront room, we did have the next one along and took advantage of the balcony at the front. I think the rooms further back might not have been so nice as they would have looked out at the wall of the next building. Definitely ask for a front room!"

"The hotel staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The room that we had was stunning and overlooked not only the pool but Nazare beach and town. We went to to the hotel restaurant for dinner which was a buffet including wine, beer or San Gria. The food and drink was outstanding and the maître de Luis Monteiro was efficient and friendly. When we arrived at the hotel they sent to our room a fruit basket, two mini bottles of port and tarts. Very impressed with their presentation to new guests. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Nazare. "

"The view of the lighthouse was great! The restaurant inside is the only restaurant in several blocks and had great food. The parking lot is a block away (private hotel lot) and hope you have a small car cause most streets are one way and very narrow. The neighborhood is very quiet and staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and good quality furniture and beds. The pool pic is from the spa and only 7.50 euros to use and recommended. Hope this helps! "
