With strict COVID-19 precautions to follow, travel looks a little different these days. These are some helpful things to know before you fly off to Navarra Pyrenees:

• Know the rules and restrictions in both your destination and origin. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so check before you book.
• Requirements state that you must wear a face mask throughout your travel experience, including at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to lower your mask to verify your identity when asked.
• Instead of handing a TSA officer your boarding pass, place it directly on the scanner yourself. After that, hold it up for inspection.
• TSA is now permitting passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on baggage. This will have to be removed from your bag for X-ray scanning.
• Empty everything from your pockets, like your wallet and phone, and place them in your carry-on instead of the bins. This will reduce handling during the screening process.
• Transport your food items in a clear plastic bag and also put them in a screening bin. Keeping food separate from your carry-on means it's less likely a TSA agent will need to touch and open your bag for inspection.
