Our first major sighting, after less than an hour on Kenya’s Maasai Mara, was this gorgeous lioness as she moved from her shaded spot within a lone acacia and down onto the open plain as a cooling rainstorm swept across the area. The Mara, despite its protections, remains an area of complex lion/human interaction due to the close proximity of numerous pastoral Maasai communities. These herders have often resorted to illegal night-grazing within the reserve’s lands, especially during times of drought and lion attacks on livestock have led to past retaliations on the Mara’s predator population

Credit card fraud?

The restaurant took almost 2 hours to bring our food and on top of this they double charged our credit card. The manager was very apologetic and assured us that the restaurant would cancel one of the transactions, but still after 5 days we have not received our money back.
