"DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Yes it’s a budget hotel, but was not expecting what we turned up too. Looks nothing like photos advertised. It’s a building site! Asked if we could see the room before we checked in, the receptionist said no. We walked in and walked out. Went and stayed 5 minutes away for the same price I paid for this hotel. No refund given. Would NOT recommend. Stay away! "

"I have stayed at a few of these hotels for work as I travel around quite regularly. There seems to be a reoccurring theme that the bathrooms have a really horrible drain smell. I would have mentioned this to staff but I dropped my bags off to the room went for dinner come back and it was already around 8:30- 9:00. The second theme is the service in the bar is inconsistent - my drink came quickly and my main came around 20 mins after this .. I had ordered pizza. Also bare in mind I’m a solo diner - my dessert took an additional 50 mins. This isn’t the first time I have experienced this in a village hotel - I did eventually ask the staff when my dessert was coming and it came quite swiftly. The menu also seems quite pricey for the quality of food. Bedroom window was broken and wouldn’t shut properly same again didn’t realise until later in the evening - again didn’t mention this to staff due to the time of evening. Lastly on another slight negative note the rooms are not sound proof in the slightest -especially the noise to the corridor. Positives - the hotels feels safe for a solo travelers - the rooms are visually clean - bed and pillows are comfy - easy check in and check out - modern interior - large size room I have never paid over £100 to stay at one of the village hotels - generally comfortable stay and maybe the negatives are to be expected for the price "

"No room service- even though advertised as upon request when I asked they said i had to stay for 6 nights. I had to go downstairs to request towels and you have to also ask for a hairdryer. I will not be staying again. "

"The room was a bit tired, but the staff did mention that this wasn't one of the fully refurbished rooms at the moment. STAFF were excellent! Free parking with the right registration process is a God-send."

"The room was clean and tidy with tv and tea making facility. Shower was a good standard with decent hot water supply. Staff were extremely helpful and approachable and good size bar and restaurant. The hotel itself is a bit dated but you could see that renovations are taking place to update it. There are a number of attractions nearby notwithstanding the airport and I would very much recommend it for its facilities, location and price."
