We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful and relaxed time. David the owner is very hands on and nothing seemed to be too much for him. The cabins are individually well located with stunning views of the cloud forest Have recommended to our friends

Fantastic little hotel just on the edge of Mindo just minutes walk to the main street. Very clean and Margarit could not have been more helpful. Breakfast area is beautiful overlooking the forest with hummingbirds and other wildlife in front of you!

Very helpful staff

Fantastic place to stay!! We loved the peace and quiet and being surrounded by nature!! We will definitely return to Casa de Vista Alta

Looking for a place in Mindo - stay here! I don’t think we’ve ever come across a more helpful hotel owner and staff. We had to move our booking a couple of times because of illness and that was all AOK. The owner was constantly making sure we had everything we wanted , clean towels for the pool or room, plenty of drink8ng water. Really generous and tasty breakfasts. The hotel is a 10 minute walk out of town and has amazing gardens and a lovely pool. Everywhere is really clean, all the...

It is a rainy season in the area and the staff made sure that we are comfortable no matter the weather.

A lovely family run hotel which was a great base in Quito. We stayed here twice at either side of our trip to the Galapagos and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Everyone was lovely and nothing we asked for was too much. If we're ever back in Quito we are certain to visit again.

The house would go unnoticed from the road but just wait until Mario opens the door to let you in! The quality of the guesthouse is clear to see and the welcome from Mario and his wife Blanca is an absolute delight after a long journey.

The staff could not have done more for us. From the very beginning they were communicative friendly welcoming and when we arrived they were so warm. It was our honeymoon and they’d put some flowers in the room which was such a nice touch. The location is great, the room lovely (albeit not quite soundproof so bring earplugs!!!) we really loved our stay here thank you

A charming small hotel very well situated in the historic centre district just a short walk from the plaza grande. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms well equipped and kept spotlessly clean . The hosts were as charming as they were helpful and made our stay a most enjoyable one.

A unique experience within a beautiful city, Casona D’Alameda was a very worthwhile stay and contributed very positively to our experience of Quito. We stayed for three weeks, during which we travelled for four days to the Galapagos, as well as exploring what Quito has to offer and travelling a little further afield to the towns and monuments surrounding Quito. By staying here, rather than in an non-descript hotel which might leave us feeling that we were in any city in the world, our stay at...
