"Friendly staff but did not assist with luggage to room or with taxi upon leaving. Maybe because too busy. Would have expected this from 5 star hotel. Poor soundproofing between rooms…noisy children nearby. Reasonable buffet breakfast."

"We stayed four nights in a spacious room with a loft that helped it feel quite unique. Loved that the room had a washing machine, which we made use of, a full-sized fridge which was terrific and a microwave. The bed was superb. Staff were very helpful. We had a great stay and would highly recommend."

"The hotel is located on the edge of the dock, so interesting and changing views , but not be quite what you expected if you booked an ‘ocean view’. The room Was nicely equipped with huge windows to look out over the city/docks. You’ll need to head out for dinner as the restaurant isn’t open in the evenings, but there’s lots of little venues within walking distance. If you’re searching for the hotel on Sat Nav it’s called La Valse - 2 words, not Lavalse as hotels.com has it down as"
