"The property is showing its age and needs upgrading. Some wall fittings - light switches, towel holders etc were loose and poorly fitted. No smoke alarms! Tatty curtains. Large hole in bed sheet. Room was quite well equipped but aircon needs thorough clean internally. Location is handy to shops and fuel. Paknsave across the road."

"Great apartment furnished in eclectic Raglan style. The host was very thoughtful (leaving eggs, cheese, bread etc for breakfast) and easy to communicate with. The hillside view from the back deck is beautiful. The apartment was very clean and had off-street parking right out front. Overall, a great value. "

"Excellent location. Situated on the waterside, east walking to local cafes, shops, walks. Premises clean and plenty of space. 2bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, very serviceable, decor could use a refresh, however we spent most of our time out and about seeing the sites. Would definitely recommend "

"Comfortable stay. We had to pay for towels and sheets. We traveled from overseas and are not familiar with the setup of holiday parks in NZ. Having to pay for towels and sheets seemed strange. The bathroom was outside and shared. This too was an inconvenience. It was not clearly stated in the description of the property when we made our bookings online. There were no shops or dining available in the vicinity and we had to drive almost 30 minutes to the nearest shopping area. Come prepared with all your things for staying here overnight. They need to update the amenities description online."
