"Me and my brother ​We booked and paid in advance for a room at V Palace / Hotel Vrundavan in Ayodhya via Expedia (booked Sept 15th). ​Upon arrival, we were denied the room because the hotel claimed it was unavailable (they cited a Oct 7th booking date). ​We were traveling with parents, a child, and an infant, creating a highly stressful situation. The hotel shifted us to a poor quality, unsuitable alternative home stay. ​We demand a TOTAL REFUND for the hotel booking due to Expedia's failure to confirm the room, resulting in this unacceptable experience."

"Everything was bad with that place. The reservation was booked weeks in advance and paid for. When I arrived the place looked nothing like the pictures. The owner said he didn’t do business with Expedia and if I want to stay I need to pay. I decided not to stay. Needless to say that while I was standing there I noticed rodents running around."
