Awesome location!

About 5 min walking distance from Nagasaki station, just 2 min from the tram station. There are one lawson and one familymart just 1 min walk, many restaurants around. The hotel is simple and clean. Great location! Will come back again next time in Nagasaki! :D

Parking is off premises so you will need to navigate a little to find the correct parking building. There are attendants there so no need to worry. Check-in and out was swift and there are plenty of lockers available for you if you need to leave your luggage behind for awhile. Room is very spacious. The entry to toilet has a step so not ideal if you have mobility issues. Headboard is deep., good if you have plenty of things you need to keep near you when you sleep.

Everything perfect! scale of this room was a big one (bigger than hotels in the big city like Osaka or Tokyo), nearby the JR station just across the road by using an elevator (in front of AMU plaza), have a nearby conbini like family mart and Yoshinoya restaurant was your next door. Easy to go every where you want to go because they have a lot of transportation choice nearby. You can put your luggage at the locker before checkin time (have many slot and easy to use) As mentioned above was an “advantage thing” of this hotel BUT!! the “worst thing” for me was the staff's service attitude. He was incredibly rude, like he didn't want to work in customer service. He made me feel terrible and discriminated against because I'm a foreigner(Asia). Check-in here can be done via the self-service kiosks which is where I have a problem. He stood there silently, offering no help even when I asked, and sighed at me. (Although he eventually handled everything afterward, perhaps because I had wasted a lot of time there and he probably wanted to return to the staff room to rest.) However, since i come to japan (more than 5 times) this Japanese staff is one of the man who really rude one.

Across the street from the Tram and Nagasaki Station. Good food options inside Amu Plaza (definitely recommend over paying for hotel breakfast just for variety). Family Mart and Lawsons around the corner. Property is outdated, but met my needs. Elevator smelled like cigarettes. Laundry was about 500 yen (300 to wash, 100 for 20 min., but clothes won’t dry in 20 min). Bathroom is modular, and you have to step up like 10 inches (this seems dangerous for older people or having to use the toilet at night). I tripped twice during my stay. Staff were very helpful and checkin/out was very easy.

Right Price with Luxury!

The Wingport Hotel is walking distance from the Nagasaki Station. Once arriving early for check-in the staff kindly informed me that check-in starts at 3pm and without hesitation offered an available room for stay. That caused the chain reaction for me to book another night at the Hotel due to the great service being provided in the lobby. The room was on the 10th floor with a nice view of the mountain side showing a variety of tourists attractions. Inside the room is compact and custom build to provide all needed for solo or business travel, including a bathtub with different choice salts for the water. The water in the room is drinkable and has the option to come out at an extremely hot temperature. A good nights rest was provided with a very comfortable double bed with clean bedding. Breakfast was served starting at 6:30am downstairs in the lobby and has a Japanese culture variety offered to hotel guest. There’s a laundry room on the 6th floor offering a washer and dryer. Wingport Hotel had everything I was looking for at a low price while traveling through Nagasaki, Japan.
