"Vast in History and in the town centre its a excellent hotel stay, The Management & Staff are very welcoming and helpful With a choice of different rooms some with that historical tudor experience its a great stay, breakfast was plentiful and cooked fresh,, The bar and lounge areas are relaxing."

"The actual room was very clean. Bed was comfortable and clean linen. The bar wasn't open in the day, but that was okay. There are plenty of pubs and bars a five minute walk away. A steep hill, though, for those with disabilities. Lots to see in the upper town. Very historical buildings. Lots to explore. The food on the night was absolutely fantastic! 5 star for us. The flavours were amazing, and extremely well priced. We would definitely stay again."

"Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and well presented. Breakfast was self serve and plenty of it. For the future to consider in the bedroom i noticed that the electric socket is a round 3 pin by the bed. It would be better for a update socket to be put in so it allows power leads for charging the ipads/computers/ telephone while in bed. Just a suggestion."
