"Beautiful view and pool"

" This was our second stay at Hotel de Moura. It is a throwback to a more elegant era. The floors, ceilings and walls exhibit craftmanship that would be difficult to reproduce today. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It has convenient parking and is an easy 6 minute walk from the historic center and castle. The only downside is the lack of an elevator. The receptionist offered to carry our bags to our room. We are seniors and carried our bags up as we were travelling light. We will definitely stay there again."

"Absolutely incredible! A 13th century castle is right outside the door with adorable shops and restaurants. The views surrounding it are absolutely spectacular with lovely farms, vineyards, and olive groves. A fabulous experience. "

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by staff and treated to a glass of their lovely wine we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The rooms are modern and beautiful designed and decorated. You experience the sense of calm created by the beautiful landscape and the architecture of the hotel. The staff are excellent and the service is 5-star. The restaurant creates the perfect ambiance for dining and the food is creative and beautifully prepared and presented. Would like to thank Andreia, Marta, Bruma and Sofia for making our stay a memorable one. Would also like to thank the chef and his staff for our wonderful dining experiences. "The people were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! The grounds and view excellent! There was not much staff on the premises and we had just arrived from a Relais & Chateau which was pretty much the same price so in comparison this destination was lacking BUT if you are going to Monsaraz and want to relax after your day of visiting I would still highly recommend since nothing in the area is comparable and the place is very beautiful and enjoyable!"
