"Fantastic location and the room was very modern and clean.
Alessandro was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was included which was a bonus ! Would definitely reccomend and come back again !"
"This was our second time visiting Forio and we were so glad we stayed here. The location is amazing and the sun deck is great for watching evening sunsets. The family are welcoming hosts who do everything to ensure you enjoy your stay. We can’t wait until our next visit. "
"Outstanding staff that always went above and beyond during our stay. Yummy breakfast, lots of thermal baths to try and located in a quiet and walkable area!"
"Absolutely fantastic hotel. Great staff, lovely breakfast and very comfortable room. The sunset views are outstanding. Easy walk to a selection of restaurants and bars. "
"Very convenient location, near Forio port. Quite noisy, but the windows block most of the noise. The room was super dated with furniture from the ‘70’s. Same with the bar area.
The garden is nice with two thermal water pools, plus there’s a warm indoor pool. They have mud treatments and many other treatments in the spa area.
Breakfast is crowded and coffee from a machine is not acceptable, especially in the Campania region, which supposedly boasts the best espresso in Italy. Even the coffee from...
"This hotel is incredible- lovely, huge room, caring staff, excellent location! Patrizia is the best hostess, always there to help make your stay comfortable. I loved walking the streets of Forio and all the restaurants close by, then coming home to the Palazzo and looking out the window to the beautiful view!!"
"All the family were very hospitable. They even carried our heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs.
Breakfast was excellent. They introduced us to the Ischian cornetto- an extra special pastry that combines brioche and a croissant.
Bedroom was spacious but on a noisy road and bed was rather firm but ok for a few nights.
Basic accommodation only 10mins to the port on a bus. "
"Super cosy accomodation, where it's possible to experience the daily life routine of locals living in the surrounding area. Amazing days in Forio and around Ischia island."
"The hotel is average at best
Room didn’t have water or trash can. It was very basic
Water in the bath wasn’t hot
Breakfast was ok but it starts at 8 am! I have never seen a hotel starts breakfast that late!
You have to ask for milk as they don’t leave it outside! So everyday I put cereal and ask for milk!
There’s one coffee machine with a long waiting line
There’s a beach around 7 minutes walking but the guy at the hotel invited us to private beach which is paid
Hotel should offer free shuttle...
"It was a decent place to lay your head at especially for the price. The rooms were hot and stuffy, only one fan per room and certain people would hog it up for themselves. The staff was nice when I checked in but after that, there was no communication really. That didn’t bother me bc I keep to myself but I did notice the difference. I stayed in a room with a balcony and got scared at one point bc I heard someone climbing the balcony and getting in my room, I believe it was one of the owners lol...

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at San Montano Resort & Spa. The views over Ischia and the Bay of Naples are breathtaking, the pools and spa facilities are world-class, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and elegant.
What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. Every member of the staff was warm and professional, but I want to especially recognize Gennaro, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. His attention to detail, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and well cared for.
San Montano is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy incredible food, and soak in the beauty of Ischia. Highly recommended — we will definitely return!"
"A glorious resort and thermal spa in the charming town of Lacco Ameno, 10 minutes walk from the public beach and with several excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk. Staff is wonderful, the thermal pools varied and very restorative and our room was large and comfortable. My only criticism would be our tiny tiny shower cubicle but otherwise our five days there were great."
"A bit off the beaten path in Casa Micciola, this hotel was oustanding in every way. From decor( recently entirely renovated and it showed in glorious fashion. You felt like an honored guest Breakast buffet included plus eggs to order. The hotel offered shuttie & taxi service plus dining & bar at normal hours. The staff! From the bar to the dining to reception & concierge, your every need wss met the soa! Awesome. Rooftop snacks & bar, elegant pool. See photos. "
"Its a family run hotel, everyone was very helpful and kind! It has private access to the beach too, close to all local amenities and public transport. Hotel could benefit from some upgrading so giving more business to them can help to transform it in the future.
Also it was very quiet at night, big plus.
I rarely spend any time in hotels,i only need a quiet and clean and safe place to sleep and wash, and this was perfect for me. And very affordable!"
"i stayed here as a solo female traveler and absolutely loved it. I felt so safe and the staff was amazing. they were so kind, helped with taxis/bus and were so welcoming. I highly recommend having dinner at the hotel too, it was lovely. I can’t wait to visit ischia again, it’s truly a magical place! "
