"Lovely staff; and good value.... not that far from local train station and obviously a favourite stop off for tour organisers re Vesuvius, Herculaneum and Pompeii... still a bit of a trek from Naples - watch the white taxi firms - though things will likely noticeably improve further once the new metro stop at the airport opens in late 26/ early 27. End of season and suspect that renovations will follow when closed for the winter (looks OK bit does need some TLC after the summer - we visited in Oct). 4 star is fair."

"This was one of the best travel experiences I have had. The accommodations are lovely. It was such a restorative and peaceful connection to nature staying in a luxury tent. A very biophilic experience so excellent for your mental and physical health. The family who owns it went out of their way to make us feel supported in every way. They offered transportation to and from anywhere. We were glad to pay to have the support. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything that we needed. The food is sourced on the farm, for the most part, so breakfast and dinner was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend you select this experience. Enjoy the local sites but then come back to nature, calm and a home feel. 100% recommend!"

"This was a lovely locally run independant hotel. Our room was large with a balcony, there is a nice pool and great views. The only caveat would be that in my opinion you need a car. On a map the hotel isn't far from anything Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Sorrento, Napoli. The trains run frequently and are cheap, (about 3 euro or less per person per journey). The hotel is only 1 mile from the nearest station. However, it's not a nice walk up streets that are not all paved or lit and motorbikes in particular drive fast. The hotel does offer a free shuttle but it has to be pre booked which means you have to know always in advance where you are going and when you will be back. Taxi's are few and far between and are expensive (30+Euro for just a few miles, if you can find one). It didn't work for us and we ended up booking a hotel for 1 night in Sorrento so we could stay late and have a meal and a drink without watching the clock. If you plan to have a hire car or to drive I recommend this place otherwise if you want to explore the area I recommend Napoli or Sorrento"
