"The Old Post office was perfect! The views are amazing and it is a great kickoff location for touring the peninsula. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff was kind and helpful. "This guesthouse was great! There isn’t a check in but you use the lobby phone for the code to get in the room. Works fine. They also answer other misc questions we had on this phone. "Beautiful home, overlooking the ocean. Black sand beach w sea sounds to soothe the soul, and seals swimming. Owners made sure bedding and staples like coffee were available. Management company was responsive to email request. It’s an historic home, interesting to read about it. Convenient to all of the sightseeing we were doing in Snaefellas Peninsula. Wish we could have stayed longer, it was so beautiful and peaceful. Thank you!"

"After spending 10 days circling Iceland, this was by far our favorite place to stay. The apartment is both gorgeous and spacious, and the views are wonderful. Looking out from one side of the apartment you will see mountains and a huge glacier. From the other end you will see the ocean. When we were there, we could see seals basking on the rocks just offshore from the apartment. The apartment was extremely clean and especially comfortable. We will be back!"
