"This is one of the most delightful places we've ever stayed. Simultaneously like staying in a dear friend's beautiful home AND the highest quality hotel. The locally sources and prepared food is superb; everyone who works there is friendly, professional, & helpful; the grounds & buildings are idyllic; and Carlingford is a lovely, well-appointed, walkable town. We would definitely return to Ghan House!"

"Cormac was excellent very friendly and professional and helpful. He had loads of recommendations of places to visit in area. Lodge was modern well equipped and spotless. A very safe and secure location with coded gates. Fantastic base for exploring the area and so close to greenway. Would highly reccomend checking it out"

"The room was tidy, staff were top notch (helpful, kind and friendly). Breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of breakfast items. There was also a bar with a great bartender."

"Lovely views, location just minutes from town and hiking trails. Delicious full Irish breakfast. (Continental option looked tasty too.) Room pleasant, fresh linens, intermittent internet. Would be happy to stay here again."

"This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The building itself is stunning and the furniture fits in incredibly well and helps keep the hotels character authentic. The level of cleanliness was outstanding and you can tell the owners and staff take a genuine pride in making sure the hotel is kept to an exceptional standard. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked with good quality ingredients. Fantastic location with a train station 5 minutes walk away and a fantastic bar close by. Easy walking distance to the local town and bars but also not too close that noise becomes an issue. Would absolutely stay here again and if anyone is visiting the area I would highly recommend staying here."

"Wonderful B&B! If youโre reading this and considering a place to stay in or around Dundalk, stop scrolling and book a room here now. My wife and I just got back last night from 10 days all over Ireland and this was our favorite stay. Helena, Tomas and the rest of the staff are amazing! The room was perfect and everyone there very kind and accommodating! My wife and I are already trying to plan our next trip to Ireland so we can stay here againโฆ"
