Was there for work, so didn't see the surroundings. Left while it was dark & came back when it was dark again. Hotel was ok.

Great Lakefront Location
Great hotel in a fantastic location on the lake. Outdoor dinning terrace was a big bonus overlooking the water. I highly reccomend this hotel.

My review
Hotel has the good location if you want to enjoy the lake. My room was decent, not that comfortable. There is a big parking in front of the hotel. They serve brekfast, but it was pretty poor.

Wonderful Winter Weekend in Ambach!
A friend and I recently spent a winter weekend in Ambach and totally enjoyed our stay at the Landhotel Huber. The rooms were clean and comfortable; the reception and dining room staff were friendly and accommodating; the breakfast buffet was substantial, and dinner entrees delicious. Their location on the lake is ideal for walking into the village, and convenient for touring other areas in Bavaria and Austria. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in warmer weather!

Lovely small hotel in a quiet lakeside town
The building is a typical Bavarian small town Gasthof, but is modern enough, in very good condition and run by kind, warm people. There is very little directly nearby, but the breakfast was great and the biergarten & restaurant are top notch. You can even arrange "half" or "full" board if you want to just relax, enjoy this quiet natural spot and not have to figure out where to go for lunch and dinner.

Schön gelegenes Landhotel nahe des Seeufers
Schöne Lage des Landhotels und geräumiges Doppelzimmer. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Zur Perfektion hätte noch ein Mineralwasser mit Trinkglas auf dem Zimmer oder ein Getränkeautomat für den Durst nach 20Uhr gepasst.

sensationelle Lage am Ostufer = Sonnenuntergang
Landhotel ist die richtige Bezeichnung, man darf im Comfortzimmer kein high Class Bad erwarten. Lage und Restaurant sind sensationell. Besonders der zum Hotel gehörende möblierte Garten direkt am See ist nicht zu toppen allein deshalb würde ich diese Hotel wieder buchen.

Leider nicht so viele Parkplatze da ein sehr gutes Restaurant anschließt. Leider schließt die Küche um 21 Uhr aber bei einem sehr gutem Glas Wein kann der Blick auf den See genossen werden. Die Zimmer sind richtig schön und haben den Spagat zwischen ländlich und modern geschafft.
