Convenient location for dining and shopping, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. I stayed at a Marriott property, and while the room was smaller than expected for the brand, it was generally clean and functional. Somerset Yangtze River Chongqing
Overall the hotel was excellent with good breakfast, the room was like a fully equipped apartment rather than a hotel room, the staff were very helpful. As for the location it was right on the river with easy access to walk along in the evening, the metro was a taxi ride or a 30 min walk.
