"A lovely hotel located in the embassy and consulate area, next to the botanical gardens, and a few minutes walk to the beach road. Only 10 mins walk to the Akemi revolving restaurant which is a must go to place for the great views, especially after sunset, and very reasonable prices. The hotel is very well appointed and clean, and staff very pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was exceptional with great choices for every taste. The restaurant meals in the evening were fresh and tasty. The pool area is well maintained and even had visiting peacocks in the evening, which was a treat. Though it was our first visit to the hotel I would recommend and would definitely stay again when in Dar es Salaam especially when it's only 20 mins to the airport."

"The hotel was pleasant. Very clean and the staff were helpful - I was moved to a sea-facing room when I requested it. I would recommend this hotel to others who are visiting Oyster Bay in Dar es Salaam. The one issue I encountered was finding a working contact email address, which I require in order to request an invoice of my stay there. Otherwise, really great hospitality."
