I would recommend staying in Kastraki where this property is located. The village is very relaxed and the views of the spires are much better than those in larger Kalabaka. There are some restaurants nearby, though the towns are not within walking distance. Since we had a car, this was no problem at all. Breakfast was also very nice and a good start to the day."
