The staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms and property were nice, they are in the middle of a remodel, so I am sure when it is done they will be very nice.

One night stay for a wedding at Higher Grounds.
Older motel, but very clean and perfect for a one night stay for a wedding that was at Higher Grounds. Only a 17 minute drive.

Room was clean and staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were pretty flat so we just ran down to the dollar general and bought a few cheap pillows. Channel options were good, it's always nice to have something you like to watch on TV (they have showtime options). Also the blanket on the bed was very thin, we prefer a thicker blanket/comforter on the bed to sleep with. Couldn't figure out how to switch the shower to the tub faucet which wasn't a huge deal but the hot water did not last very long while taking a shower. The toilet seat was the wrong size for the toilet, toilet was elongated but seat was for a round toilet which was also not a big deal but just kind of awkward. Also, I love the keypad option to get into the room, so much easier than carrying a keycard around.

Went by the pictures online and they looked nice. They didn't have the double room we had reserved, so we took a king room. Pictures showed beautiful pool area, room with pretty artwork, white bedding, leather chair. Stated that breakfast was included, but when checking in, there was a note stating no breakfast. Pool area was very overgrown with weeds and pool liner was torn. Bedding was a stained dark blue blanket with a cigarette hole in it. Sheets and pillowcases were clean. Thin scratchy towels. The a/c unit was above the clothes cabinet and we couldn't reach it without standing on the wobbly, cheap desk chair, which was not a nice leather chair. The best things in the room were the nice fridge and the large flat-screen TV. Wasn't comfortable with the lock on the door. Did not feel safe at all.

First it was easy to check in I has stay 2night but the room was half clean just one towel, wash towels no shampoo or soap and no TV remote. I call and he got a remote and towels . The second day I came around 4 to the room and the room was not clean it’s just like I left it

We booked two rooms. One room had no tv remote. It was MOSTLY clean but had short black hairs in between the fitted sheet and mattress and little gnats dead on the sink. Also, I’m only 5’6” and was hitting my head on the shower head. Pluses: air worked great and it had a full sized fridge! Our second room had NO bath towels and had a take out container full of food in the fridge!! We booked here because they were the cheapest in the Evansville area but we clearly got what we paid for. Oh- I do love that they do keyless entry (pin pads on all the doors) so we didn’t even have to check in!

Room had a weird sell. Pillows were small, so bring extra if you plan to stay. Bed was firm, but was somewhat comfortable. The A/C looked new and worked great. Had a large refrigerator for a motel. Had good size tv. Bathroom had caulking all over the place that didn’t match the grout. It was definitely a quick fix it job. The pool was closed and looked like there was no plans to ever open it back up. (No mention of that on their website). Just an average place to stay.

The Four Seasons is a no-frills roadside motel. It’s very clean, and the manager was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. I slept comfortably there. But please be advised that the pool is closed and looks like it has been for quite awhile, despite the photos on their website.

Very clean but stupidly furnished. No flat surface upon which to put anything, a small but full size refrigerator that is noisy, a flat screen tv that occupies the entire top of a bureau. No chairs. No table - and there is room for all of this. It's ridiculous. Air conditioner is too noisy.

The bed was super comfortable the staff went above and beyond to help. Very clean facility with an outstanding staff. A special shout out to "Jay" who made our experience an absolute delight the reasons we keep coming back every year.

Toilet paper in rest room had some brown stuff soaked into it. Charging station looked like someone threw up on it. No coffee pot. Talking with another patron He informed me we were in the up hill ( nice side ) overall it worked for just a place to sleep for the night. Apparently new ownership the event I’m in town for. People having event knew previous owners whom are pictured on website.
Don’t really want to know what’s all over the charging station. Needed it, but wouldn’t touch it.
Wash clothes stained, or dirty.

This property is not owned by the people in the picture and the photos of the property and rooms are not recent. Bare essentials are all the rooms have. Towel are very thin and small. King size bed had three very thin pillows as well. Coffee pot had not been cleaned from the previous time the room was used. Would not stay there again.

Super easy check in!! Bed was very comfortable. I need to sleep in a recliner part of the night, so that's the main reason we booked this motel (each room has one). It was an OLD, beat up leather recliner that was disgusting looking. I used a sheet to cover it while I sat on it, but it still disgusted me! If they're going to have that comfort, they need to keep them updated as they get that old!!

wont do it again
Terrible. 30 mins to just give my room code. outlets didnt work. no cleaning after the first day room was freezing cold, not much help in operating the heater breakfast, promised but no where in site. Never again.

Old property, old linens, prop in bad shape inside and out, website shows prior owners. Only update to the prop is the price. I had 2 go back & show my reserv to get the correct room. Stink bugs in the heaters. There’s not enough space to mention all the negs. But I didn’t have much choice for the area.

I like the people who own this and the Desk Clerk was helpfull. They need to work on their wifi, it was having fits while I was there. Much better than staying at the Big Chain Hotels, it is not the same old bland style that the chains have. I'll be back!

Room was very outdated not even close to the pictures online website said they have a cool one reason I picked. Took 15 minutes of running the water to get hot water was supposed to have continental breakfast there was nothing blankets were so thin like having just a sheet. They did provide a coffee pot but expected people to use coffee they put a little Ziploc baggies nowadays you don’t trust anyone with things like that

The room was overpriced for the area and unhandy room layout. For example, our king sized bed was inaccessible easily by more than one person. (Up against the wall on two sides. The room was big enough to have the bed positioned correctly. Sadness... Our room was nearly $120.. More than I would expect to pay but probably allowed in the market due to construction crews that provide a steady customer base.

Good value for price room was clean and facility was quiet. My only issue is they need to put larger towels in the rooms. They towel in My room would be fine for a toddler but not sufficient for a grown adult

This is a 1950s-60s style single level motel. The rooms open to the outside and parking is in front of the rooms. It is welk maintained. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. The bed covering, a single thin duvet type thing was a bit light for the AC chill. The hotel could save some waste by installing soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower instead of the old style lityle bottles they now provide. I was pleased by the place and my stay.

OK for one night
Checkin was easy; manager was pleasant. Room was a good size and clean. The bed was comfortable. The rooms were non-smoking, but with people constantly smoking right outside the rooms, including the cleaners, the smoke was wafting into the room. Also, there were two couples sitting outside til very late smoking and drinking and talking very loudly. I had to turn up the air conditioning to high to drown them out.

Comfortable stay in Mt Vernon, IN
We were glad to find an open room at the Four Seasons since they are usually booked. Our room, a king, had lots of room with a full sized refrigerator and lounge chair. We would've appreciated a table on both sides of the bed and better sheets. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets didn't have a mattress pad and continued to slip off the bed. We could've used another blanket, as well, since the only cover besides the sheets was a thin blanket. They had plenty of pillows. The TV was large. We did have a couple of small spiders and noticed the main wall could use a new coat of paint. Carpet looked fairly new. Breakfast was good... real scrambled eggs, sausage gravy & biscuits. I burned a bagel in the toaster, but they brought a wider toaster which worked better. They also offered cereal and some fruit. An offering of yogurt would've been a nice addition.
