"We had an overnight stay at Bellbird Hotel as we were in the area for the day and decided to support local instead of returning to Sydney. The hotel itself is great. Bar staff could be more engaging. Accommodation was comfortable though a little tired. Wouldnโt take much to freshen it up, have a decent (hanging) wardrobe and full tea/coffee facilities. Shower pressure fantastic. The huge upstairs verandah was divine to relax on and enjoy the late afternoon. Enjoyed a meal at the restaurant, big servings. Lucky we checked the menu online as the menus on table didnโt have the full menu. Check in and check out was easy. Plenty of free off street parking. Would definitely recommend for an overnighter!"

"Fantastic service and friendly. Stayed in the Budget Double. Large room, ground floor, clean, room a little dated but fantastic value for the price. Breakfast was included but as we had to check out before 8am on a Saturday we missed out on the breakfast. There were plenty of other options close by though for an early breakfast. The room was quiet and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend and if the opportunity arose would stay again. The parking was free and plenty of parking within an easy distance to walk."

"An absolute gem in the heart of Pokolbin, Hermitage Lodge offers a peaceful and comfortable vineyard escape with stunning views, exceptionally cozy rooms, and the fantastic on-site Pescara Restaurant. Enjoyed the space, the wine tasting by Aeon wines was an absolute highlight and the fireplace in our room, lovely sunset and sunrise views and super central to everything! Check in was smooth and staff were outstanding!"

"Great location, the rooms are spacious and well designed. You feel like you could stay a lot longer. And definitely want to return The villas are exceptional with the fireplace. The golf course looks amazing, the bar and restaurant 19 was fantastic! It is close to everything in the Hunter Winery scene. Only comment that is negative is the plates donโt fit in the dishwasher. We will definitely be calling this our go to for future stays."
