"Great location. All rooms face the beach. Adjacent to the pier. At the end of Folly Road. Walk to all the shops and restaurants. They have nice beach chairs for guests. Just check them out/in. One ding … No free coffee except in-room brewer. Continuous improvement suggestion … Rooms are not carpeted. Understand, due to the sand. But a throw/area rug between the beds would be a nice add."

"There was a lady picking up breakfast dishes and she was the absolute sweetest! She talked to me for a bit about our Girl Scout Troop that stayed at the hotel for our Charleston trip. The hotel was amazing. If I had any complaint at all it would be the parking is a WHOPPING $30 per car a night. I feel this should be included or at least a more reasonable amount. The place is awesome and I highly recommend."

"The front desk job staff are always pleasant, welcoming and accommodating. I had an unexpected doctors appointment that was going to cut into my departure day check out time. The front desk staff heard about my dilemma and offered me a late check out so that I would not be rushed after returning to the room at 11: 30am for a 12:00 p.m. check out. I am very grateful for that extended check out because I wasn't stressed rushing back from my doctor's appointment and had plenty of time to pack up my room and depart. Could not ask for more a caring hotel stuff."

"This is an older hotel, however it is very well maintained and the rooms and baths are modern. It has a charming atmosphere and a beautiful court yard area with lots of seating. Each floor had a station with a coffee maker, ice, fresh fruit and bottled water for your convenience. The hotel is also centrally located. I would recommend the Emeline!"
