"Galaxy Boutique Hotel -A very nice place to stay. A summary: - Pre-arrival contact: We were contacted before our arrival to confirm the booking, etc.; - Parking: the hotel offers free onsite parking for guests. - Check-in: Check-in was very efficient and helpful. - Room readiness: The hotel appears very new. The room was ready and very well presented. The rooms have an amazing view of the mountains and lake from large windows. - Bathroom + toiletries: the bathroom was very clean and the toiletries were very nice; - Storage/cupboards: There was clothes hanging space and drawers. - Tea and coffee making: There was tea and coffee making and a small refrigerator. - Bed: The bed was very nice to sleep in. - Pillows: There were 2 pillows per person. - Locality/restaurants/shops: The location is a short drive to the centre of town. There are many restaurants, shops, cafe's and convenience stores. Hotel dining - the hotel offers breakfast in the dining room or delivered in your room. Highly recommended."

"We were given a room with handicap bathroom and after washing my hair the water flooded the room completely. We could hear the people walking around the unit upstairs all the time. The interior and exterior is pretty run down. We had no choice to take this room because it was the last minute booking and most places were booked. The only plus point was they did include free cooked breakfast at the Dough cafe next door and you can't fault the location."

"Great find! The Mackenzie Motels was a wonderful find! Dont let the exterior fool you, each room was nicely decorated, warm and cozy. Nice small kitchenette area with coffeemaker, microwave and refrig. Our only watch out is there was no staffed office to check us in but we were given instructions for retrieving a key from a lockbox. Unfortunately we checked in after dark and there was no lighting over the lockbox. This made it feel a bit sketchy but it all worked out. Highly recommend this accommodation!"

"Television operation - no instructions and therefore could only get 1 live free to air station. Location was reasonably central with a short 10 minute walk to shops etc GPS did not recognise the address so had a little trouble finding the unit. Very clean and had everything you need for a short stay. "
