"Unfortunately a very poor experience.
When we arrived the property was completely dark and difficult to find our way, which was quite a worrying start.
We then found cabin was not clean. Particularly the bed, which had stains on, and the bathroom was dirty. The toilet did not even work, and the door had no lock."

Have just returned from a four night stay with my husband at this hotel, We could not fault the friendly service, décor , comfort and cleanliness of this hotel. Facilities excellent too. Our only gripe was that there are not any English language channels on the television -even had there been the obligatory CNN or BBC World News service they would have been preferable to nothing!! We ate dinner the first evening in the hotel restaurant. At a set price of 29 Euros we had a most enjoyable...

Spent just one night here on a touring holiday in Normandy/Brittany. Village is delightful, quiet and characterful.
The hotel staff went the extra mile to be helpful and informative. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and good value.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and in a perfect location. We felt at home from the moment we arrived.
Paul was an outstanding host—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. He gave us excellent recommendations on places to visit and things to do in the area, which made our trip even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend this accommodation and would happily stay here again. Thank you so much, Paul!

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay in this Chateau. From the moment we entered the drive until we left everything was "wow". The building and grounds were quite a sight and the restoration that has been carried out was sympathetic to the period in the public rooms while providing up to date facilities in the bedrooms. The views across the gardens and over the French countryside were terrific and our hosts were very helpful during our stay.

Our one-week holiday at Auberge de la Sélune was absolutely perfect. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, providing a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. A true highlight of the property is the beautiful garden, which is the perfect spot to unwind. Patrice and Sandra are fantastic hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived.

Set in lovely gardens, a welcoming, French house with super rooms and one of the most comfortable beds I've stayed in for a long time. Stayed with my husband and 11 yr old and we had 2 rooms with a jack and Jill bathroom. The rooms were full of character with views out to the gardens. No croissant for breakfast but super homemade breads, yoghurts and spreads with cheese and cereals. We were also given some of the homemade bread for our onward journey. This hotel is in a rural location and it...
