The Tulip Inn was great for our stay in Lausanne. it's away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown or touristy waterfront. It was just a short walk to downtown, or to our families apartment near Prilly.
My only complaint about the Tulip Inn is the lack of an in room coffee and tea service. The website suggested coffee and tea were available in public areas. That meant it was available for a significant charge in the breakfast room.

Our stay at Villars Palace was wonderful. The atmosphere was very peaceful, making it perfect for relaxation. We especially loved the coffee bar — excellent quality and a great place to unwind. "We booked 2 rooms. 1 room had a loose sink faucet that was repaired but the loose toilet was never fixed. The lighting in that Room 541 was bad.
