"It’s a beautiful small property with a very cool design. Fairly rustic though and with a bit of a farmhouse feel and therefore maybe not for everyone. Managers and owners Giacomo and Paola are both fantastic. Giacomo in particular was a superstar, passionately speaking about the wines of the winery and the region, giving us great restaurant recommendations and really going above and beyond with a smile. "

The location is excellent, a short drive to the sea and also close to Taormina and Catania, which was very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. "We enjoyed our stay at Zash. It's an excellent hotel. The restaurant has great dinner offerings and an amazing breakfast. The service was next level. Two things that were not problems for us but something you should generally be aware of is that the hotel is sort of in the middle of nowhere. If you dont have a car, it might make things challenging. There is also a train right next to the property. It never really bothered us, but its there...and you will hear it. "

"The property is dated. There are not enough outlets in the room to charge a couple of phones and tablets. Walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors. There are many, many stairs and steps, so if you have mobility issues, be aware. Do not eat in the restaurant. It is horrible. However, the view is spectacular, the pool is huge and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is okay so long as you stay away from the very cold scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon."
