Fint gammalt hotell, men som kommer att rivas.

Mycket trevlig personal. När man kommer till ingången, så tror man att det är ett helt raserat hotell. Trappen är trasig. Exteriören är under all kritik, men det beror på att Motala kommun äger fastigheten och ska bygga en Konsumbutik på den platsen i dec. 2014. Interiören finns inget att klaga på.

Utomordentlig service

För att vara ett budgethotell är det mycket bra. Byggnaden ser tråkig ut men välstädat och sköna sängar.Lite lyhört och smällande dörrar men det var inget jätteproblem. Fläkten på rummet hjälpte bra när det var över 30 grader ute. Dock uppväger servicen allt! Vi deltog i ett arrangemang och önskade tidigare frukost och ville låna plats i kylskåp - inga problem! Ett härligt bemötande. Kan verkligen rekommendrea hotellet, klart prisvärt!

Vi var ute efter ett rum att sova i och få frukost på morgonen innan avfärd. Det fick vi också. Det enda vi var lite, lite missnöjda med var internet-upp kopplingen. Den kom och gick, emellanåt fick man informationen att det inte fanns något bredband i området. Men vi var ju inte där för att surfa på internet. Hotellet var fult på utsidan, men trevligt och fräsht på insidan och väldigt trevlig personal.

Bra, billigt hotell. Enklare frukost men rymliga rum och sköna sängar. Bodde 2 nätter under Juli månad, något varmt i rummet men det fanns en fläkt och vi hade fönstret öppet. Trevlig personal och rent överallt. 2:à gången vi bokar detta hotell och vi kommer komma tillbaka.

Fönster mot järnvägen

Old but nice

Old hotel but very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location just across from the Göta Canal and a short walk to the City Center. I'd go back. The only thing really missing was Pickled Herring at the Beakfast Buffet!

Acceptable for the money

Sweden is an expensive country, and the hotel rates reflect that. So for the rate you pay, this isn't a bad place, but there are several things to consider. First, the front desk is only manned part of the day, so if you arrive after 8pm you'll have to call the number on the front door to get the code for the little key vault on the door with your hotel/room key in it. The person did answer the phone promptly though and was courteous and spoke English well. The hotel is right across the street from the train station, but Swedish trains (at least here) don't make a lot of noise- none of that obnoxious whistle blowing like in the US but if you're a light sleeper it may be an issue for you. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and while small, no smaller than most hotel rooms you'll find unless you spend a lot more money. However, there were no tissues (a minor point, but a notable absence), minimal towels, and no phone in the room which means no wake up calls though there was an alarm clock in the room. There was a flat screen tv and it was fine. Breakfast consisted of a few cold cuts and various clod cereals and rolls with slightly bitter tasting orange juice (coffee was available but I don't drink it so no info there, sorry). This is in stark contrast to most other Swedish hotels (even the ones in this same price range) where breakfast is a veritable feast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and 8-10 other cold items standard. If you're nearby, ok for the money.

Trevligt bemötande / perfekt frukost

Vi möttes av en glad och effektiv receptionist som fick oss att känna oss välkomna direkt. Allt fungerade som utlovat och frukosten var både god och riklig. Det enda som kan fördunkla tillvaron för den lättväckte är att järnvägen som passerar ca 150 meter från hotellet är ganska livligt trafikerad.
