"What a great hotel 👍 A lovely, historic building in the centre of a gorgeous town with very friendly locals, supermarkets , pubs and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and there is free gated private parking. Breakfast was sooo good. Plus it’s dog friendly (€13.50 supplement) We had a smashing stay and would be delighted to recommend it to everyone. ❤️"

"Free parking was a plus and we had a room with a view of the Roman bridge. However there is no air conditioning and with the sun shining in the room all afternoon it was hot until sundown when it started to cool down. The old town center is about a 2km walk from the hotel. There are several restaurants in the neighborhood, but also several nightclubs and sex shops that may be of concern to parents with young children"

"This was even better than I could have imagined! Beautiful apartment, so modern and updated. Everything in town was walkable. Great conversations with the host to understand some tourist benefits better. Tried the German train system some before our planned train trip the following week, made us more comfortable and saved us so much time on a Sunday excursion we would have otherwise driven to. "Everything was very nice and up to par with hotel standards, however the casino did not have any blackjack dealers due to "low demand"... Blackjack is the only reason I would go to a casino"

"We enjoyed our stay here … check-in was easy and quick. All the staff members we interacted with were friendly, professional and kind. The breakfast was good and the staff worked diligently to keep everything stocked and clean. The rooms are very small but up-to-date and comfortable. As with other hotels, only shampoo and body wash is provided (no hair conditioner or lotion). Happily, Kleenex tissues are included, as is a hairdryer. Ice is available in the lobby. We did not try the lounge bar but it looked inviting. The location is walkable to the main sites in Trier - about 20 minutes thru nice neighborhoods. There is a nice walking trail along the river behind the hotel with a restaurant or two."

"As if being in a castle isn’t awesome enough, the staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful. The grounds and rooms were exceptional. Gorgeous. The restaurant for dinner had amazing food and service. I honestly can’t say enough about this property. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, whatever best ratings I can possibly give for a hotel - I bestow upon this hotel. You absolutely MUST stay here, even if for just a day. It’s totally worth it! "
