The "New Jerusalem Monastery" was founded in 1656 and is located 1 hr by car West of Moscow city center. One major part of the  architecture is an identical replica of the Cathedral of Sepulchre in Jerusalem including the small chapel beneath its dome, daily attracting hundreds of worshippers.
A beautiful Orthodox Church inside an equally beautiful Monastery. There is a little bakery nearby with delicious sweets and tea.
