Near train station, 4 minutes walk. Breakfast good. Nearby Matsuya . Easy access to Fesan mall with many restaurants, groceries and dry goods stores.

If it weren’t for the rock-hard mattresses
The mattress is rock hard and accordingly had a horrible night of sleep - the most important aspect a hotel stay. A comfortable mattress topper would make this a much better hotel. Otherwise, slightly above-average hotel.

The hotel is by the train and bus station and it’s convenient. Hotel service is good and our stay is comfortable.

Good value for the money
I would say it's a good value for the money. The location is great, right across the street of the train station and is in walking distance to good restaurants. The public bath is also good and clean. The room is a bit small but okay for the money (we stayed in a twin bed room). Breakfast buffet was okay but you have good choices of foods. The bad thing was that the elevators smelled. And the Wi-Fi connection was really weak on the higher floor and the side rooms.

Location excellent near to shinkansen station. Room is very standard, breadfast better then expected with many changes in dishes over 4 days. Onsen is simple n ample. Staff at reception and room service are professional. Given the price, I would give it good stay n will repeat my stay.

Small but comfortable.

Good place to stay in Morioka!
Very good location, just a few steps away from Morioka JRStation, very friendly staff and also nice breakfast buffet. Only minus: Quite hard beds.

Comfortable business hotel. Everyone on staff was very helpful. Convenient location for us. Nice to have large bath on 14th floor. Breakfast was excellent, with a new variety of western and Japanese food each day.

Close to train station
Easy access being very close to the train station. Rooms are very clean. Hotel doesn't seem to be too old. There is a restaurant located on site which is good. The hotels Wifi was not working at all and the Lan connection was not working at all either. So having to internet connection was very inconvenient.

Nice hotel close to everything
This hotel was less than a five minute walk from the train station and was central (walking distance) to a lot of shrines, temples, restaurants and parks. Great for a tourist on foot with a couple days to explore. I found the room clean but the noise from the station did bother me at night and there were no lamps in the room so only overhead harsh lighting even in the evening after a long day of sight seeing. As a Westerner, I found the buffet breakfast very palletable and the coffee was really yummy. I did not appreciate being asked to chose a time for breakfast and then having to wait in a line for 20 minutes though. The staff was very helpful and the view from the top floor onsen was very cool.

Convenient location
This hotel is very conveniently located right across the street from the Morioka train station. I was able to walk with my heavy rolling bag and carry ons. There is an underground pass to get across the street and it has an elevator so the steps were not a problem. The staff is efficient and exceptionally pleasant. But then you are in Japan! The amenities leave nothing to be desired. Restaurant, coffee shop, convenience store, gift shop. The only problem I had was the ATM in house would only accept cards from two Japanese banks so I was unable to obtain cash at the hotel. All cashiers in the hotel did accept my foreign credit card however.

Better than a standard business hotel
This hotel was a bit smarter and had a little more space than many business style hotels I have stayed in in Japan. Staff were excellent and the breakfast was pretty good for this type of hotel with a reasonable balance of Japanese and western style food.

The hotel was conveniently located across from the train station. Hotels.com lists free parking, but the woman who checked us said the website was wrong and charged us 500 yen. Unlike most Japanese service peolpe, she was not very pleasant but got the job done efficiently and gave us a quite room as requested.

Winter stay in Morioka
Route Inn are consistent quality through the chain I have found. Not the cheapest business hotel but I think it's worth paying a bit more for a bit nicer room. Breakfast is excellent for a business hotel with a western and Japanese breakfast buffet included in the price. Has a small public bath included in the price too which was also good. Close to the station too.

I could see the train station from my window. A good location for food and drinks. Walked about 5-10 minutes to the main street. Free breakfast was good, definitely a good value for an inexpensive hotel room on a weekend rate. Free parking at the hotel was extremely convenient.

Small but clean
A typical Japanese city hotel....very, very small, clean and functional room. Breakfast was mostly Japanese so don't expect to fill up on bacon and eggs, cereal and toast. Only a minute from the east exist of railway station. Staff were very helpful and understood enough english to get things done.
