This hotel was less than a five minute walk from the train station and was central (walking distance) to a lot of shrines, temples, restaurants and parks. Great for a tourist on foot with a couple days to explore.
I found the room clean but the noise from the station did bother me at night and there were no lamps in the room so only overhead harsh lighting even in the evening after a long day of sight seeing. As a Westerner, I found the buffet breakfast very palletable and the coffee was really yummy. I did not appreciate being asked to chose a time for breakfast and then having to wait in a line for 20 minutes though. The staff was very helpful and the view from the top floor onsen was very cool.
