"Ridge Royal such a lovely beautifully decorated resort and great room! Such a nice surprise as had not heard of this hotel until saw listed online. The resort is fantastic, so clean and spread out. Very roomy and nice chaise chair and authentic Ghanaian decor. Before booking had in mind for beachside but this hotel has such great amenities and very modern and the nice breeze gave it an ocean feel. Ridge has such very friendly kind professional staff. "Anamabo Beach Resort is one of our favorite places on earth! The food is always delicious - favorites include tilapia with banku and grilled lobster when they have it. breakfast is sumptuous and the fresh pineapple melts in you mouth. The staff is always friendly and helpful - many have been at the resort for years, and they never fail to remember our family. Beds are comfortable, and the rustic vibe is so relaxing. We can feel our blood pressure drop every time we come through the gate!"

"Should have earned 5 stars - but apparently we got there during renovations, so we really could not have full access to amenities that we in the process of being brought in or managed in some way. Apparently the website needs some attention as well - the hosts could not see our whole reservation. We were about to leave and find another hotel, but the hosts did some last minute shifting around to make a one night stay tolerable."
