"The shade in our window didn’t work so we had light coming in all night. The pool was closed for a long time they told us 30 minutes and ended up being two hours. "
"This hotel was truly a gem! It's located in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of shopping and restaurants to try. Me and my husband stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. There is plenty of free parking for the hotel guest which is very rare for Chicago and it's surrounding areas. It is also in close proximity to downtown Chicago. The room was very spacious and clean and we loved the old charm of the decor. The only thing that was not the best was that the king size bed was a little too hard for our liking. But we were able to fix that by getting an extra comforter to make it softer. We loved the jazz music that was playing in the lobby, so soothing. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Chicago. "
"This was a very affordable and comfortable stay. Had a mini fridge and a microwave but No frills or extras. Just the necessities which was fine by me and my husband. We stayed because it was just a few miles from a Music Festival we attended. It also had a small desk and a chair. We got the king room. I only wish that it had at least one other chair so we both could have sat in a chair to eat instead of on the floor or bed but that wasn't a huge deal. The staff let us know that we have to ask for extra towels, blankets/sheets etc since we were staying a few nights in a row since they don't do daily room service. There are some scuffs here and there but that kind of stuff never bothers me but if you are a perfectionists it might. I would absolutely stay here again."
"How to make sure there’s trashcan all level also if anybody smoke a cigarette outside the room, it goes in the van of the heaters and makes the room smell like cigarettes. They need a better way a better area to smoke people like I are very allergic."
