"I loved this place. It was so close to the beach which was a huge plus for me and my partner. We loved our stay. It was very quiet, which we both don't mind at all because we enjoy a more less crowded and peaceful trips. The staff was friendly. They had 2 firepits which helped in the cold night/morning. You are able to see the beach from the parking lot and you are able to view the beautiful sunset right in the front of the Inn. They also have complimentary coffee, tea, apple cider, hot chocolate, and cookies that was a huge plus. Parking was very convient and non issue. Me and my partner would stay here again."

"The property is located across the street from the ocean, so the views are beautiful. The room was very spacious and nice touches like the fireplace. The bathroom however desperately needs to be updated. The tub grout was not nice and the tub fixtures were not mounted right. The bath soap mounted on the wall in the shower was empty. The room has 2 sinks one in the bathroom and one outside near the door, however the faucet in the room would spray water everywhere if used. The bed was very comfortable, and street is very quiet so it was easy to get a good night sleep. The front desk person apparently does multiple tasks as they were not always there and not very friendly. The "continental breakfast" provided was a couple pieces of breakfast cakes, granola bars, bananas. and apples. They had coffee but nothing else for non-coffee drinkers like myself."

"I honestly don’t understand why Cambria Beach Lodge has such a high rating. The hotel looks beautiful in photos, but in reality it’s very misleading. First of all, this is essentially a motel-style property, not a proper hotel. The rooms are extremely small and very poorly equipped. There is no table, no chair, no microwave, and no refrigerator in the room, which makes even a short stay uncomfortable — especially if you’re traveling with a child. For families, this place is simply not suitable. There’s no way to warm up food or store anything, and overall, it lacks the basic amenities you would expect. The “breakfast” is also very disappointing — it’s really just a name. The only options were boiled eggs, pumpkin bread, bananas, and coffee. There wasn’t even regular milk available. Another inconvenience is that the reception closes after 10 PM. If you want something as simple as hot water for tea, you have to call and wait for someone to come. And of course, there’s no kettle or coffee machine in the room either. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations set by the photos at all. I would not recommend this place, especially for families."

"Great location/fireplace is a plus/comfortable and relatively quiet. Quaint and cute, needs a bit of TLC. Only complaint is really dirty, old carpeting. "

"This is a great place to relax. The Adirondack chairs give you a comfortable place to sit, relax and enjoy the ocean view. The board walk across the street is a lovely path to walk and catch more breath taking views. If you like exploring tide pools there is an access to them off the boardwalk just slightly right from the hotel, very close. You are also walking distance from a beach cafe."
