Très Tranquil.
We had no pets, so, I couldn't say. We had an apartment with all the facilities. Lovely and spacious. Fabulous bed. The Owners were super. Lovely people. A very quaint village. Not much to see as the season was closed. Outdoor pool and lovely gardens. Would stay there again.

Decent low cost hotel near the A10
Check in left a lot to be desired - with the receptionist continuing a personal phone call and ignoring me for over 5 mins. Not what you need at 11pm when you have been driving for 12hrs.
