The room and property were nice and clean. Unfortunately our room did not have a mini fridge so I had to throw out food I brought and unable to save left overs. The location is convenient to downtown activities. Parking was difficult and you have to pay. Next door to Hank Williams Museum is a bonus.

Location is accessible, walking distance of many places to eat and the Riverfront, and 8 minutes from the Maxwell Air Force Base. Favorite part of the stay was breakfast provided by the Hotel. Least favorite was finding parking outside in the street and there's homeless people that approach you constantly to ask for money.

Clean room, friendly staff. But that's about as far is it goes. Parking is very inconvenient as there is no guarantee self parking. Beds were majorly soft, and wasn't much for covers. No fridge in the room to keep anything cold. You cant control the climate inside the room. The noise outside was insane till early morning hours making it so hard to sleep. Really couldn't wait to check out.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Staff was friendly. Even with the parking issues, valet was great. Didn’t have any issues.

The lobby was my favorite part, its beautiful. The room smelled kind of funny, might be because its a very old hotel. Our sink was leaky and the tiolet wouldn't flush but I fixed that real quick. The view from the window was good. The beds were super comfy. The valet was quick and friendly. The front desk lady (didnt catch her name) had great customer service! The breakfast was good (waffles, eggs, sausage, potatos, etc). No big complaints, it was a good place to stay for the weekend. Close to a few good restaurants. I wouldnt go to 79A- they were not busy, the sign said to wait to be seated, we waited 15 minutes and were never acknowledged so we left and went to Sa Za instead. The daquiri place across the street had customers into the night, they were a bit loud and could be heard from our room.

I liked the historic look of the hotel but the plumbing within the rooms and public restrooms need maintenance or upgrades. The breakfast nook was quite cramped though seating space was adequate.

Negative Stars, Would NOT recommend.
To begin. Checking in was the most unfriendliest experience ever. The staff member, Tiara, was very short, dry, and mostly unresponsive. The hotel is extremely outdated. The cleanliness of the room was not up to par. The hot water was hit or miss all weekend. The sofa bed mattress was disgusting. There were no extra blankets or sheets available. There were roaches crawling on the counters of the breakfast buffet. No one would answer the phone at the front counter. I had to personally go down to the lobby. Only to discover the staff member sitting at a table on her laptop. When checking out, the valet guys could not find our car. They allowed us to look inside the key box and pick our keys in order to find our vehicle. When getting our car, the car smelled like marijuana. I can't believe this hotel is still in existence.

Concert at MPAC
Easy to find, close to MPAC for concert, friendly staff, quick valet service and free breakfast. Have stayed here twice now for a concert and everything was perfect. Having so more television channels would be nice though, not much choices when relaxing during down time.

200 plus Dollar hotel with no refrigerator and hotel is old and outdated and they charged my card for a store purchase that never happened

Good downtown stay!
Staff was fantastic! Super comfy bed as well! Room needed a little deep cleaning in corners and ceilings in the bathroom and behind doors… Otherwise great! Free breakfast was a bonus and a great place to eat next-door!

Valet parking lost key fob for my 2022 Ram. In order to leave hotel, I had to have local Ram dealer come to hotel and program new key for my vehicle. That cost me $630. Twelve Oaks Valet did not contact me and would not answer my calls. Instead, they texted a receipt showing the $29 per night valet fee was waived.

Great location and pleasing building. However my room needed a makeover. Chipped paint on window frames, shower handle needed fixing, carpet needed vacuuming in certain places. The bed was very comfortable which is important. Breakfast was standard.

On Civil Rights travel tour. In my first assigned room I could not get any cable TV. I requested a room for the subsequent 2 days and I was given better and roomier room where cable service was satisfactory. Some weekend staff seem not as professional as weekday staff. Hotel needs more litersture about the Montgomery.
