Way out in the official middle of nowhere, straddling the Colorado/Utah border is the National Monument of Hovenweep. It is located just north of meeting place of the Four States. Driving in from Colorado on a clear day gives distant views of Monument Valley to the west, Shiprock to the south, the the La Sal mountains, Sleeping Ute Mountain and the La Plata Mountains. "Cottage C is our home away from home. We're so happy to have found such a clean, welcoming, and affordable place in Bluff. Our dog loves staying there too and appreciates the dog-friendly couch cover and the cookie jar. Since restaurant options in Bluff are limited, we've learned to pack our dinner and breakfast in a cooler, knowing that the cabin includes a full refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and dishwasher. Plus cookware, plates, silverware, and the best fresh-ground coffee."
