A little more variety on the buffet on the daily menu would have been nice, The nightly entertainment was pretty much the same every night. The beach and the facilities in general were kept clean and in good condition, the best feature to us was probably the fact that it had it’s own little island you could walk to, in general it was a nice place to stay

Didn’t like that the first day we lost power for couple hours and lost power throughout the stay at least 7 times, water wasn’t working, tv wasn’t working or phone wasn’t working in room. Room service cleaner was very tentative and pleasant. Last day on resort didn’t have no shower water to even shower had to wash up at sink with cool water. Other than that dinning staff was very welcoming and pleasant. One thing that the resort should look into that water machines and ice stations should be in the different buildings on the floors for after hours.

I stayed at this hotel for one night after our original hotel was fully booked on our last night. Upon arrival, the lobby was a hybrid indoor/outdoor space without air conditioning, making it uncomfortably humid while waiting to check in. The front desk staff was unhelpful and provided little information about the hotel's amenities. We were directed to one of several buildings, most of which lacked elevators. Our room was very outdated, reminiscent of the 1990s. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the TV had no channels, and the bathroom was extremely cramped. It’s giving Harry Potter We hoped dinner would be better, but the buffet was the worst meal we've ever had, leaving us puzzled as to how anyone could eat it. The only positive aspect of this property is its ocean view. Overall, everything else was not worth the money. The photos online are misleading and make the hotel look much better than it is. Spend a bit more and stay somewhere else. Do not stay here.

I would like to bring to your attention some concerns regarding the administrative staff, specifically the front desk receptionists and supervisors. Unfortunately, their behavior has been consistently rude and disrespectful towards guests. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of consistent communication among the managers within the resort. I had none working phone and fruit flies in the bathroom. I made a complaint and request service at 7am. When I returned to my room at 9:30pm nothing was done. They sent the maintenance and room service at my room at 10pm to do repairs after I used my personal cell phone to call front desk ( long distance charged I’m now responsible for). They were unable to fix the issues that late, so I demanded a room change. I was taken from a king room to a twin room. Mind you this is A VIP SECTION OF THE HOTEL. No accommodation or credit given, just that they would extent my checkout time to 12noon. However, I must acknowledge the exceptional performance of the bartenders and service personnel. They have consistently provided outstanding service. In order to improve the overall customer experience, I would highly recommend that the resort addresses the issues with customer service at the administrative level as well as junior management. By doing so, they can ensure that guests are treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. Thank you for your attention to these matters."

Property was in a state of disrepair. Rooms were dirty. There was no running water. Elevators were broken. Stairs had a mold smell and were falling apart. A few days there was no running water. There were stray cats roaming the dinning area. I will never go back and am currently fighting for a refund.

Maintenance of the property could be a little better. Especially some repairs and painting. I am saying this because I used to work there from 1979 onwards, and I came back for a Vacation, I love the property and would like to some the maintenance of it better, and I will be back there. I love it and did enjoy my time there.

Kewayne from the kitchen/banqueting department was AMAZING. We stayed here for a one night business overnighter. We arrived to dinner at 9:50pm (dinner ends at 10pm) but it seemed they were already packing up and it looked like we wouldn’t be able to get any food as there were no more plates and cups left on the buffet line. Kewayne was gracious enough to get us some plates and cups from the back to get food at the buffet, that made our night and our entire visit . That meant the world to us as we had been working previously for almost 24 hours straight and were very hungry and tired . Hats off to Kewayne for being so kind to us.

Beautiful sandy beaches and pool with lifeguards on duty nonstop. Great entertainment throughout day, but the night shows were the bomb!! Very courteous employees and were always happy to help. If they couldn't help they would find someone that could. Never had to wait long for anything.

Customer service was very poor. I am a born Jamaican who love jamaica and i have also worked in the hospitality industry in Jamaica. I was very disappointed with the service at the holiday inn montego resort. Most of the staff are rude. IF you want to enjoy your vacations please go somewhere else.

There was no free shuttle pickup from the hotel. When I arrived at the air port, I felt lost.The rooms had no ventilation, so after showers the walls would sweat and leave a sticky film everywhere. It appeared the walls had already developed mildew. I tried using the A/C but without Ventilation it just made the moisture cold. I think screens on the doors would have helped. But, over all, Great staff, Great service. The hotel setting was Great. The hotel was enclosed so it felt safe for the family. If they fix the ventilation problem and did some upgrades to the lobby, this would be a Great resort.

The physical hotel it's self is ok. The staff however isn't. I probably encountered 2 nice friendly helpful people out of 10. Everyone here seems mad about their job, not wanting to it. It's hospitality and they are rude and unfriendly. I traveled hours to get here and it's not what I expected. Not sure if it's like that everywhere but don't expect great service here. Or even any service for that fact. A simple request seems like a bother to them. Also booked the ocean view room and they took HOURS to give me keys in what I consider partial ocean view bc there is a tree blocking most of it.

Everything was great for the price . Only issue we experienced was the card key to the room not working a few times ( need to keep the cards away from cell phones ) and the sliding doors to back were very heavy to open .
