Isla de la Plata is just off the coast of Ecuador, a short boat ride and you are to the island which is also a national park. We saw a ton of Blue-footed boobies both adults and chicks. To be honest, the chicks and adolescents are not very handsome birds. We did a nice hike around with a very informative guide and were even lucky enough to see a sea lion on one of the beaches and a whale on the boat ride back to port!

Great clean room. Check in staff very friendly and courteous. Bell boy brought luggage to room. Room service was great and chocolate covered strawberries with bowl of assorted nuts was just perfect. The club house, dinning room was some distance from the hotel, if you didn’t have a car you had to ask for a ride, not always available. Someone always gave you a golf cart ride sometime.
