"Great bargain for the price. This hotel is very clean and well-decorated. The room was spacious and comfortable for our after work, work. The breakfast options are varied with hot and cold selections. Overall, a great stay."

"We start working at Dawn. They don’t serve breakfast until 630 am so we couldn’t enjoy their breakfast. I think they do that so they don’t have to feed as many people. Most of the people in that hotel are blue collar workers just like us …up at the crack of dawn and out of the door by six. we looked at the vehicles in the parking area. Most of them were trucks. Just like us. Working folks! And most of those guys were gone before we were at 6 AM …And when I tried to make coffee in my room, there was only decaf. I was so upset. I didn’t wanna have to get dressed to go down to the coffee bar and get caffeinated coffee. It was 530 when I got up. I don’t think I’m gonna go back to that hotel to be honest … too disappointing. My partner and I have worked Palestine for 20 years. Almost everybody that stays in this hotel works for a living … using their hands with a skill. Working manually. Five years ago, we did a huge project staying in that hotel for five weeks. We saw the same thing. People that get up really early because of the Texas heat and start working at the crack of dawn. The showers are good. You can certainly take a nice hot shower and rest well because it’s quiet. But just knowing that a whole lot of what you pay for is the breakfast and the coffee in the room, I felt very, very disappointed."

"I showed up around midnight and the room looked like it had not been cleaned. There was red droplets on the floor, mirror looked like someone took a bath in the sink. I have stayed at Best Westerns before so I was quite hopeful. I could not get my money back from the hotel and wil be contacting hotels.com for help with a reimbursement."

"Breakfast was standard quick food. Beds were comfortable. The room clean, but the bathroom door and wood trim near the floor were worn and in need of scrubbing. Otherwise bathroom, towels and all were clean. Staff were kind. AC worked. Nice to have a freezer compartment in the fridge. Parking was easy and area quiet. "
